I think blind-folded you’d be hard pressed to peg this as rosé. Even in the glass it’s more of a peach color that’s lighter than even Provence. The nose gives me cantaloupe, pear, fresh cut grass, and a little citrus zest. It’s mouth wateringly acidic on the palate, with a great mineral backbone and a punch of fruit. I might almost think it was cool-climate steel fermented Chard if I had to take a stab in the dark. A refreshing, very good friendly wine.
