Delicious and opens up beautifully to a balance of dark fruit initially then softer tannins over about an hour. Parked with lamb sausages and grilled vegetables.

Oct 30th, 2016Dark, full-bodied Syrah. 2012 vintage, one of the best years in recent history in Sonoma. Went very well with a seared rib eye.

Having 2012 vintage in sept 16. Resolved tannins - but lacking in fruit (some tart plum at first dissipating to white pepper mid pallette and a clean finish but lacking in characteristic Syrah spice and fruit. Not that impressive.

A juicy delight. Better after it has aired out a little. Decant before serving and you can't go wrong. Unti delivers yet again. These folks know what they're doing!
