Apr 2nd, 2021V. Sattui Winery, 2013 from Preston Vineyard. Pretty much the perfect cab. However for the price Im not so sure. I really like their Paradiso blend better. But it is GOOD!!!!!! Minimal to no bouquet however. The dark berries on the beginning lead into a buttery and silky mid palate with chocolate and vanilla overtones. The finish is quick and dry. Its not as oaky as the Paradiso blend. Finish also has a slight sour pinch to the tongue after a minute or so. I probably wont buy this again. And I would not buy it in a restaurant ever, even if they carried it. Restaurant price would be well over 190 dollars Im sure. Too sour for this price. Maybe it needs 5 more years to age.
