Licorice, dark fruits and tobacco. Structured w firm tannins -- this can definitely use decanting --- improved considerably w time in the glass. Had it with pasta, but think meat would be a better match for the tannins. Could also probably use more time in the bottle.

Dried cranberry and cherry with pomegranate on the nose. Tart versions of them on the palate. Some balsamic and strawberries up in the mix. Very present tannins, seemingly med+ acid.

#garyveewineclub licorice, cherries, and some dark fruits with firm tannins and lingering acidity. Quite fruit-forward on the palate. The oak is unbalanced, but pairs very well with meaty tomato sauce pastas.

Great find at Costco. Good structure, lots of ripe fruit and acid balance. Great with pasta and Ragu. Decant it for an hour and you will be pleased.
