Querci'Antica Lacrima di Morro

2018 vintage. This is soooo good. First time with the variety. Candied violet and rose petal big time, with fresh cherry, pomegranate, red plum, incense, stemmy spice and tarragon, black rocks. Light- to medium-bodied and very gulpable with a light chill.

I believe a first for me. Dark black olive color. Tight aromas of purple flowers and black fruits fighting to get the forefront. Fresh, grapey notes upon opening and after aeration, more savory, stemmy, bitter blackberry with fine chalky tannin. Opened 11/9/27

Back to being a medium bodied and a hint of rose--- crowd pleaser good for all types of foods.

Blueberry cobbler!

Very herbal with notes of soap, licorice, violets. If you've had Sen Sen, you'll know this immediately. Light + body, ultra dry with tweaky acid. A fun, simple zippy example.

I got as far as Italy....

First time I tried this wine. Very unique and interesting.

Good pairing wine for me. Can drink easily but might get bored.

Cherries, stewed strawberries, medicinal herbs, violets. Lots of minerality.
