The wine is for the masses. 50 peeps plus. Drinking well. Barnyard nose. Smooth and balanced on the palette. Needs more time, but presented well tonight.

Lucky me to be able to find a few bottles of the 2013 vintage zin the challenging Pennsylvania State Store system. First taste was elegant as sooth. The soft tannins emerged slowly. A gorgeous wine. Surprisingly, the initial taste reminded me of certain Kelley Fox pinots. I have to do further investigation on this point.

Aug 24th, 2017This is both awesome and an awesome value. Explosive nose of herbs and ripe red fruits. It's like a great southern rhone. Everything is in balance on the palate, with a great raspberry tart finish. A Grenache that shows some restraint. Great on it's own or with food.

Love this wine. One of the best under $20 wines I've ever had. 2nd time having this wine and I think I like it even more this time around.

Aug 18th, 2016(16/20) В аромате, особенно первом носе, ощущаются запахи строительного герметика, одновременно проявляются ароматы вишни, малины, ванили. Высокая кислотность, лёгкое тело, гладкие танины. Тёплое алкогольное послевкусие.
