A lovely and bright nose -
Tempered honeysuckle -
This wine will straight up remind you of Pinot noir in many ways, yet also differs.

Light to medium bodied - bright cherry skin and fruit. Chompy fruit tannins mixed with sweet tart acidity , tons of saline and a fresh lip smack to bring up the end .
Dang, do I love this producer.

After my experience with the 2018, I’ve been waiting for what seems like forever to get my hands on the 2019 and finally picked up a case.

Upon opening, there was an initial and intense new leather aroma that morphed quickly into ripe cherries. Same as the ‘18, there was quite a bit of complexity which included strong floral notes mingled with cured meat. Just incredible. Mouth watering acidity meats red fruit on the palate, just a touch of tannins. Medium bodied with a long gratifying finish. After about an hour after being opened, there were some noticeable chocolate characteristics, but it certainly needed some time to breathe. Overall, another vintage, another win.

All in all, has amazing potential and perhaps another two years of aging will get this into its prime.
