2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted after one hour and 3 hours. Medium body. Dark fruit and no stranger to structure. Balanced but on the dry side of the ledger. No front-running, plushy pony here. Really nice stuff and not recommended to pop as the extra bottle for the casual palate. 5.23.26.

I’ve had both La Muse and La Joie so I was happy to get to try Le Désir. I think I like this cab franc dominated blend the best. The nose is floral with green fresh notes. On the palate it’s rich, full bodied with a luxurious velvety texture. Dark fruit, bell pepper, spices, licorice with powdery tannins that starts to melt into the wine completely. Starting to hit its peak.
