This wine has me trippin. Someone on here mentioned motor oil on pavement—check! And pencil lead. And bitter herbs. And some dried fruit. And lavender. And the the taste of someone starting a V8 engine. And it’s chewy. And dry. And it hits you big but finishes long and elegant but rough around the edges (like I dunno, a Vivienne Westwood or Rick Owens leather jacket). And most importantly, it all weirdly works beautifully. Love it

Nov 7th, 2020Started off with sour cherry, lavender and the unmistakable smell of motor oil on a driveway. The mouthfeel was dry and minerally, but elegantly so, with a beautiful finish that balanced fruit and tannins. We paired it with steak but this would go well with anything.
