Surprisingly good for the price. Bold and full bodied with a lingering peppery note. Robust. Had it with charcuterie but easily overpowered it. Probably better with steak or something more flavorful. Enjoyed with dark chocolate afterwards.

Porta 6 is a mass produced Portuguese blended rws wine that is inexpensive but always gives good value on taste and quality.
The grapes are 50% Aragonez, 40% Castelão and 10% Touriga Naciona and this gives it balanced body with good colour and a jammy, dark and red fruit taste.
