A joyful, generous bottle from a famed estate - overflowing with ripe cherry fruit, a touch farty (my favorite), if I may, lots of organic earth aroma. With a bit of time in the glass, it polishes to a more refined herbal fruit experience, and a touch of sauvage and underbrush. Would happily grab a few more if I had the chance. Enjoyed with herb-roasted salmon, potatoes and a summer stone fruit salad.

Smells like bitter cranberry Mountain Dew with wafts of early 1990's Poison by Christian Dior-- woodsy, spicy, luxurious. It tastes just as high-low, with intensely juicy notes of ripe cherries and tart California plums, followed by a peppered and polished Redwood finish that makes you wish you weren't drinking it so fast. But you are. Quaffable but with structure and elegance, this is hands down one of the best bottles of Pineau d'Aunis I've ever had.

initially smelt of burnt rubber but opens up into an airy woodsy place with hints of sweetness. hints of jam, pepper, and tart blackberries. super light finish.

Light. Tiny frizante. Ripe blueberry sweetness. Would definitely drink again.

Prickly/effervescent up front. Has a nice, mellow pepper/berry finish.
