I get excited when I see Nebbiolo! Nice and dry, delicate and smooth. Still young, but will be nice and mature in a few years.

Nice drinker, accessible, can't complain.

2010 vintage. Soft and smooth with elegant cherries and maybe tar? Probably not good tannins and acidity on the finish. Always a good deal.

Rose petal, mushroom, dark fruit slight tar notes as well. Medium plus tannins. Not as rough as many Nebbiolos.

One of 3 wines in a Piedmont wine flight at "The Grove" Restaurant, Austin. We just left Piedmont, as well...we drank all the wines we could. Subtle palate, smooth, flavorful... mostly agree with the restaurant's descriptive card : "2015 was an exceptional vintage and the Villadoria Lange Nebbiolo...high quality, affordable, Old World style"...classic rose petal, cherry, anise, tobacco of Nebbiolo without the gripping tannins..."

Very light Nebbiolo. More Pinot Noir-ish. Still nicely balanced and paired with a fruity/meaty meal would be great. We had it with sausage and a pasta puttanesca. Not a good pairing!

It's no Barolo but very passable for everyday drinking.
