From Mendoza, the 2020 Malbec Felino was aged for eight months in 10% new oak. Purple in the glass, the nose presents gentle notes of violet alongside intense fruity aromas such as fresh plum and cherry. Growing juicy in the mouth after a dry beginning, the flow is broad with a velvety texture from the aging process and refined tannins before the vivid, fruity finish. (Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, November 2021)

Dry oak, raspberry, and black pepper. Big and bold but balanced. Amazing for the price.

I worry I'm becoming a boomer with all the Malbec I've been drinking lately. But the quality at the price is undeniable and we don't have a lot of local options here in NW Philly!

After an hour of decanting, I got notes of plum and dark berries. Would recommend this wine for a crisp red.
