Medium garnet , terracotta rim. Degraded fruit more red fruit than dark , touches of spice , sous bois , touch funky perhaps, higher toned red fruits . On the palate fresher acidity , lighter and less sweet than the 1987, sous bois and touch of grafite and tobacco , smoky note. Ok length with balanced alcohol , just slightly drying finish . Drink now and over the next couple of years . Neither of these reach the level of the 1986 from a few weeks ago .
