Viña Errazuriz
Max Reserva Valle de Aconcagua Carménère
Hmm. Disjointed, but kinda in an appealing way. Starts with an almost aged note, then gets super fruity and the vanilla and oak come on strong at the end. Soft tannins and med body make it easy drinking, if you can stand the vanilla

Dec 5th, 2018Tonight I have opened the 2016 Viña Errázuriz Max Reserva Carmenère. Made up of 85% Carmenère, 11% Syrah and 4% Petit Verdot.
On the nose is raspberry, cherry, green bell pepper, chocolate, spice, herbaceous notes, vanilla and earth.
On the palate are notes of raspberry, cherry, plum, green bell pepper, chocolate, herbs, spice, vanilla and earth.
The wine is medium to full bodied with medium to + acidity and medium to + sandy tannins that leads to a medium to long drying fruit finish. A very enjoyable, drink now or store for enjoying later wine. Have a great rest of your weekend and may your week ahead be a good one. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
