Viña Ijalba
Varietales Rioja Graciano
Plum, pencil lead, cinnamon, clove, cooked blueberries, rhubarb pie, oak, cedar, with some tertiary notes of raisins and mushrooms. High tannins, medium plus acid, medium plus finish, and high alcohol. If you like bright fruity wines, this isn’t it. Rather, it is an interesting rustic wine that I’d pair with Italian sausage, pot roast, and smoked ribs. Drink now. I don’t think it would benefit from aging.
