In a way this was like Syrah-light -- blackberry, black pepper, violet potpourri, smoke and stones. Moderate tannins and medium body. Worked really well w steak quesadillas. Really good value.

Very subdued and mineral with sweet black fruit and pepper--quite respectable complexity for the (insanely low) price.
