Inky. A little like wine soup. Just gets better and better as it opens. Cassis. Tannic on the finish. Gripping in the chest.

This was up there for me for WOTN in our blind tasting. It had such a richness to the black fruit. Everything I want in a muscular can

Big brooding nose of dark cherry, burnt balsam wood and bourbon. Big wine that needs more time as the tannins still block out some of the nuance. I think this will get a lot better. All the components are there

This is a behemoth!! Dense and chewy after a 4 hour decant. Extremely dark and inky in the glass, crushed rocks, blackberry, toasted oak. This reminds me of an Abreu Madrona Ranch. A rich, hedonistic beauty but I would say it's at least 5-8 years from it's optimum drinking window. Hold or decant.

Deep and dark ruby red. Rich nose with notes of dark berries and dark cocoa. Solid moderate tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied. Tons of red berries and baking spices on the palate. Stoney long finish. Still needs some time. Drink till 2030. (92+)

At 14 years- just might be this WINES sweet spot. Took a little while to decant -but was amply rewarded. Tanins and Fruits still doing their jobs. It was a treat to drink.
