After tasting this on Friday, I went back to the well. We love this bottling. Great producer, and a reasonable price.
Pristine presentation, with those regal elements of coffee, barrel toast and a hint of vanillin. It been produced with a deep extraction. Wifey gave it 92 - there it is!

Impressive. Ultra ripe nose of espresso, barrel toast, and black cherries. Palette is seductive. Tannins are somewhat course, but are regal. Consistent notes on the palette, with weight and density. The finish is pure. Very impressive 14 wine.

2014 Vineyard Cru 29 Cab Sauv. Awesome when opened and breathed a hour. Big rich full bodied, gobs of black fruits. Plum and cassis. Medium tannin structure. Very impressive. CB a solid 94 here. With friends .

Plush mouthfeel with integrated tannins. Nice relaxed notes of kirsch and cherries, which finishes moderately sweet. Very enjoyable.

For the $60 price point, this is an excellent Napa cab value. Received multiple lower 90s scores which feel adequate. Plum, graphite, mixed dark berries and noticeable oak. It’s fairly extracted, but not Caymus like. More structure. Nice lengthy finish.

PnP. Dark red color. Nose seems a little oxidized on the nose, which was strange as the cork was good. Fruit forward with plums, blackberries, and subtle anise. Medium plus depth and finish. Not what I remember from V29.

Jan 27th, 20241hr+ decant. Dark red color. Nose contains oak, dark cherries, anise, and a touch of vanilla. More dark cherries on the palate with some cinnamon and distinct V29 flavor. Medium depth and finish. Overall very nice!
