La Mano Roble Bierzo Mencia

Nice deep ruby color with a light purple rim.
Big , Fruity nose with cranberries, blueberries, oak, dirt, currants and herbs.

Dry and fruity on the nose with blackberries, cherries, red currants, pomegranate, peppercorn and spices.

Medium bodied with long legs.

Medium finish with round tannins and some bitterness, which ruined it a little.

Opened it yesterday , and it was tart and undrinkable. Today it is enjoyable.
Went great with Spanish style roasted lamb.
Aged 3 months in American oak.

13% alcohol by volume.

Drinkable, fruity red with long legs. The name is ironic (LA Mano.) Better just a tad chilled past room temp. A decent value from Trader Joe's.

A good value at TJs this is now my daily go to bottle.

Decent. Oak and tobacco flavors. Inexpensive from Trader Joe's.

Nice oak finish, a bit of a nutmeg taste at the end.
