My first Pinot. Dark red-brown Nose: this is day 1.5- I smelled nothing but alcohol yesterday. Smoked meat all over this puppy. Maybe with a cherry on top of the pile of smoked meat. Palate: smoky, something appealingly spicy. Rifling through my spice drawer left me answerless. Not clove, maybe allspice. So smoky!
