Meh hope this was better in 14-16, the Grenache blanc and Marsanne don't play well together with age, Grenache Blanc oxidizes early and Marsanne has weight and texture, the two exaggerate each other and the Picpoul acid doesn't lift it enough. The faint reduction (nuttiness) just adds to the unpleasantness rather than make it "interesting" which I'm assuming was the intention...

Easy to drink, not heavy, not sweet. Complex enough.

53% Grenache Blanc, 40% Marsanne, 7% Picpoul. The GB & Picpoul are co-fermented & this is all Boushey Vineyard fruit. A racy, high acid White Rhone. Floral nose, bright pear & hazelnut palate. Nimble & lively. Delicious.
