What a great showing. Confectionery nose. Superb minerality. So complex. Apricot and peach skin. Just staggering minerality. Palate is bright and full of energy and so pure. Terrific acidity. Really long and clings to the palate. A brilliant showing. Wonderful texture. Outrageous.

Nov 12th, 2021Unreal wine. Gorgeous nose. Honey, tangelo, confectionery aromas, perfumed and elegant, palate is elegant, mineral and honeyed, sappy and elegant. Complex. Really fine. Intensely flavored but also so fine. Long finish.

Oct 13th, 2019Frigging unreal. What a nose. Just superb. Wide wide open aromas. Tangelo, lavender, honey, mineral, limestone and more. Even some sponti. Palate tastes like a baby GG. Incredible depth and richness yet so lithe. So clean and serious sap. Amazing power and concentration. Incredible and such a baby now.

This is a highly-extracted Riesling. Rich nose of ripe, juicy apple, intense liquid minerality, and kind of a musky animal (sexual? Yikes!) note that reminds me of a well-aged Maconnais white I had about 35 years ago (seriously, I remember shit like that). Densely flavored yet with lip-smacking acids, this wine is clearly on steroids. Wow.

Wow! The electricity from the integrated fruit and acids right now are mind blowing. Huge depth here. Quite lovely

Nose is sort of an ephemeral green apple. Some age.
Palate is delicious. Mineral. Great texture. A hint of aged Riesling. Dense. Interesting. Almost a hint of aged rhone. If that makes any sense.

Nose is mineral with a hint of fruit.
Palate is green apple with a hint of apricot. A little fruitier than normal but that’s the vintage. I prefer this in leaner years but this is delicious.
Needs an hour. At that point almost spicy. Vibrant. The apricot skin disappears. Lovely.
