2015 vintage. Light-bodied and perfumed. Wild strawberry, blackberry, incense, violets, black rocks, a little iron twang, red plums, pomegranate. Great with a light chill. Quintessential warm weather red.

Again, Blaufränkisch is such a food-friendly wine and a good value, whether entry level or top flight. Prieler is no exception. Brambley fruit & game, crushed spices, singing acidity. 🍷🍆

I love Austrian reds and this is no different. Lovely berry flavors but still has a bit of grit to it.

Gamay/Shiraz descriptive notes...who cares?! This is a very young Blaufränkisch. No...it's not there yet. But give it fives years in the cellar...you are a genius! Now? 9.0. Five years out? We shall see.
