Feb 3rd, 2019First time testing a 2013 #pinotnoir from #weingutgottardiwinery .
The wine has a deep red garnet color. Almost tawny. The rim is clear. The nose evoques aromas of strawberries, leather, green pepper, meat, mushrooms and other funky notes. It is a bold dry wine with medium acidity. The palate confirms the nose showing funky and earthy notes. It is vibrant in your mount with a long finish.
Grape varieties: 100% Pinot Noir
Really surprised by the funky and earthy notes. Classy and vibrant bottle from #Italy 🇮🇹🍷 Recommended!

This was a stand out wine. Maybe the best Pinot Nero producer in Italy. A must try!
