Have not had in 4 years and as brilliant as ever. Unreal freshness and acid. Lush, rich, energetic and long. Nose is a stunning perfume of slate, green apple and wet earth plus citrus. 9.9 nose. So juicy, decadent, honeyed and refreshing. So so insane.

Feb 7th, 2025Haven’t had in about a year. Awesome nose. Honeyed and dense. Layered. Apricot, citrus, huge minerals and slate. Lemon, lime, so so complex. Some funk as well. Herbs and scents of nature. Genius nose. Ridiculous palate. So deep, so complex and so well shaped. Unreal texture and depth. This is drinking amazing. Wow. Incredible freshness and acidity. Really pure. Palate is so textured and then so citrusy! Finish is electric! Incredible.

Oct 26th, 2021The acid in this wine is bonkers. Just bonkers. Nose of lemon curd, slate, savory, minerals, confectionary, so so clean, some Vulcanized rubber which I love on my Mosel sweet wines. Rainwater. Glorious, epic palate of insane acids and dazzling green apple fruit, purity and freshness. So so so youthful. Still so utterly primary. Amazing texture and mouthfeel and so so savory on the finish. This is just incredible, energetic and genius Auslese. So so complex. 50+ years ahead of it. This tastes like freshly bottled 2019 Auslese. Devastating wine.
