Mosel Riesling

Light weight, high power. Delightful freshness, cuts into BBQ brisket, washes down rice & beans...like a boss. Or Meister, as the case may be.

2013. Tiny bit of sweetness on the attack but a beautiful line of acidity through the midpalate to the finish. Fantastic with foie gras and brioche with diced pink lady apples and balsamic reduction. Delicious!

Super fine and elegant but yet so juicy.

Steely balance. Apples.

A Riesling that doesn't command your attention, but once it has it, you're screwed and you will drain this bottle. Great, great producer.

So much happy after a long day in the vineyard

Pretty balance of acid to sweetness. A bit pithy, but good varietal aromatics.

Started out with sulfur sitting on top. An hour later it showed with some lean tart fruit and great mineral presence

Stony acidity.

First wine from WK. Tastes like Getolsteiner. That's not an exaggeration. Just as racy and delicate as I'd been told, but it's still got something of that middle Mosel ripe yellow orchard fruit.
