This is called Ella’s Vin de Granit, and it’s 79% Grenache and 21% Syrah from Placer County. Color is lighter. Looks like Grenache. Hint of rust and smells a hint oxidized. Flavors are hint oxidized too. But also gamey and Grenache driven. Has a nice elegance. Might have been a bit brighter when younger. Still a unique and very enjoyable wine. Tart and juicy.
