Whitehall Lane under Dean’s leadership always produced a soft, round, delicate pinot. This is no different. He told me that the glass closure stopped at the 2009 vintage, clearly not. Anyway, most enjoyable.

The nose has poise and good clarity. Cola, capsicum, leaves and cinnamon jostle for your attention. On the palette it's flinty and mineral driven, with a racy, nuanced texture. Stone fruits all over the place. Excellent and refreshing for this great summer we are having.

Jun 18th, 2016This Pinot was a little earthy and tight at the first taste... However about 45 minutes into this bottle, the wine opened up and was very delicious! Whitehall Lane does it again.
