Pretty solid for an everyday bottle. Was a little tight at first but opened up with a little aeration. Nice fruit; a little earth but nothing crazy

Very nice budget Shiraz. Hard tannins and spice dominate. Black pepper and big smoke like pinotage. Finishes with french vanilla creme brulee, lingering to balance out the slightly austere front palate. Extremely pleasant.

Pretty happy with this for a $10 grocery store buy. The fact that it had a little age on it (for a grocery wine) helps, I think. Dark fruit, and spice with ample acidity. Accentuated the grassy/gamey notes of seared lamb, especially w/ the fattier bites. Serve this w/ lamb to people who like (gamey) lamb. Nothing exceptional, but solid value.
