Hats off to @Trent Fletcher for opening both the ‘14 and ‘15 William & Mary cabs in honor of their current release this week! Both were decanted for about 3hrs prior to consumption.
I love trying similar wines side by side. In comparison to the ‘15, after the decant, this was sweet red fruit all over the nose. Cherry liqueur, strawberry cream and cherries jubilee. Palate was balanced and very agreeable. Some cedar, licorice and rhubarb for a bit of spice.

Inaugural release of this wine from an oak knoll vineyard and wowsah it is good! Decanted for about an hour and the wine is smooth and plush in the mouth. Huge red fruits - raspberries and black cherries, present but not overpowering tannins and a super long finish. This wine is my jam!

One of my favorite single vineyard Napa Cabs! Red fruit driven with such purity in the fruit; cherry liqueur; rich and velvety sweet tannins; light cocoa mid palate and finish; delicious!

Decanted for 6 hours and what a wine. Cherries and blackberries with nice rustic tannins on the finish. This was great and will be even better with a few more years on it. Very impressed.
