The black raspberries always standout amongst their fruit. The dark cherries next followed by, cherries, strawberry preserves, black cherry cola, plum, prune, light sage, cinnamon & nutmeg, dark loamy minerals & soil, limestone, bright acidity the pours over the palate, long; lush, round, ripe fruit finish that does not end. It might be the best 02 I've had of there's. The wine is in excellent shape and will last at least another 5 years.

The one thing that is consistent about Williams Selyem is their purity of fruit. They are simply are farmers at heart. The ripe raspberries, cherries, pomegranate in this 02 are simply fresh, well resolved and delicious. After nearly 15 years in bottle, it's still fresh, bright and ripe, smooth with palate dripping acidity. Light earth and soft understated chalkiness/minerals with a round, long, polished finish. Photos of the Estate, display barrels and one of their Sonoma vineyards. Never disappoints quoting from a Jim Groce song "Time in a Bottle."
