Took a little while to open up. Paired well with the pasta Appetizer that included broccoli rabe and pepper flakes. Finish was better than the initial mouth feel. Strawberry and currents with a bit of earthy/leather finish.

From the very cool 2011 vintage, this is surprisingly good. Solid acidity and tannins with bright red fruits and a slightly rustic quality and a lengthy finish.
