Good ol' Gruner. Spicy, zesty, and attitudinal is the style of this wine. Much like a child of Pinot Grigio and Assyrtiko of there was one. Granny Smith apple skin, white pepper, lemon zest, candied ginger, - a flavor that reminds me the taste of peppery arugula lettuce, in fact a perfect combo in my mind.

Very impressed! Clear straw color, aromas of stone fruit, Washington red apple and black currant. Dry, great crisp finish. Lots of citrus, fruit and minerals. I wish I was having some spicy food!

Crisp, light and tart, great with shrimp scampi and roasted red peppers! Very tasty. $12 at Total Wine. At Mom’s house 3/24/18 with Mom & Chas.

So....was thinking of watching a Bogart flick and drinking this guy... coming at us strait outta Austria with lemon pinapple grass to the nose. Lemon pinapple garden hose bell pepper a touch of asparagus and a pine aspect to the palate. Wonderful acid and med finish. Lovely
