Les Michelons Moulin-à-Vent Gamay
On opening, nose is reticent, but the flavors pop. Incredibly bright, deep cherry-berry fruit, with intense crushed stone dust minerality and mouthwatering acids. Tannins are there but super-fine and soft. Wow. Moulin-a-Vent is usually not one of my favorites Beaujo villages but this is crazy good. Will update as it takes on air to report on the the nose.
UPDATE: One hour later, nose showing up, with deep, zesty fruit and cracked stone.

This is so good - low, velvety tannin with raspberry, strawberry, cherry, plum, forest floor, blackberry, and dried rose petal. Violet and earthy notes on a long finish. Medium acidity, this is an elegant food wine. Great value and so enjoyable to drink
