Would like to try some more valpolicellas because this one felt like a great introduction; solid, not too overwhelming in its dried fig and raisin flavors but still intriguingly different from other reds in the region.

1 person found it helpfulJul 31st, 2017Nice earthy qualities but still bursting berries, leather, floral, sweet pepper. Nice acid cleans up the sweetness and the length is good if not just a little short on the end but it should open up. Nice horse shit notes in there too. Me likes.

Feb 19th, 2021Brambly fruit, notes of blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Intense fruit balanced by appropriate acid and some cedar and tobacco notes. Lovely and easy to drink.
