Inky dark purple color, full bodied and good tannin level. Bit of a peppery finish that I like, and smooth. Easy to pair with food.

Tannins are strong enough to detract from the otherwise full body flavors. Should have started with spicy pasta dish or pizza first. Enjoying the bold aroma and strong character.
