Vintage 2015 / paired the wine with ossobuco. Lightish wine with fruit and a certain frivolousness, very quaffable. A Valpolicella with grip.

Bright crimson in colour. Jubey primary aromas of confectionery. Light to medium bodied with light supple tannins and low acid. Notes of fruit and nut milk chocolate. Drink now - no cellaring required. Also good QPR. Tasted again 10 weeks later. Aromas and flavours of blackberry jam. Anyone who likes ripe flavoursome Reds will love this.

A fairly neutral Ripasso - not too fruity and not too dry. Lacking a bit of imagination for me, yet quite enjoyable. Going to add a few to the cellar.

Aug 18th, 2018A disappointing example. Drank over 3 nights to try different effects of oxidation and improved dramatically on 3rd evening displaying a much greater degree of openness and length on palette. Suspect would improve considerably with aging.
