Favorite Chardonnay now...over ripe stone fruit/ mild butta/ ima stop...I just love this wine — 6 years ago
14' vintage...late review: dusty and full bodied..couldn't have drank through it without the brie and crackers... Long story short don't cheap out on Bordeaux... — 6 years ago
Clear and unassuming. Presence of oak, red fruit, decaying rose pedal, hazelnut/cocoa; nose was less forward on structure than taste.. WOW tannic med+/hi, alcohol med(13.5), med/+ acid, raspberry jam, tart cherry, crisp minerality... I can dig it for the price point of 18.99 but would gamble on a Pinot for less $$ — 6 years ago
Drank it again since then. Good, very good — 6 years ago
Red and black but mostly red...drank like a Pinot in taste but had the body, smooth tannin and richness of Cabernet. Almost straight down the middle Cab, super drinkable, not overly viscous or extracted..lil hot — 6 years ago
Really digging these Santa Barbara Chardonnays...I got underripe melon, pineapple, honeysuckle and white flowers...maybe white peper...med/+ butta.. mid + oak..med- alc/med+ acid...ate with shrimps. Pretty good, but would go with another grow site(ones that had more overripe melon) — 6 years ago
Bright, med + acid, mild toast, med - alcohol...under ripe apricot/nectarine, limestone, floral white dandelion/rose, lil grassy...not completely my steez as the acid is pretty ripping but very accommodating with food..yeah if buy it again — 6 years ago
Very nice. Nose:dried rose pedal, ripe cherry, baking cocoa, lil dusty... taste: dark chocolate cherry cordial, med - tannin, lil hot(med+ etoh), clay, acid med/-(I struggle), light oak contact, dried strawberry..complex and aged just fine. Paired it with a burger but recommend anything and nothing, definitely drinkable alone. — 6 years ago
Good representation of California Chardonnay. Kinda straight down the middle. *Rating based on "not really my steez". — 6 years ago
