Shows the 2009 dark fruit/medicinal/licorice, but brightens up after an hour+ decant. Kind of a tweener, not showing complexities of age; will wait another year or so on my last bottles. — 9 years ago

Verging on "Pinot-tized" territory. Fruit is dark, a bit "dried", Still some tannic edge here. Not much Beaujolais charm, but good drinking nevertheless from sort of a forgotten vintage. — 9 years ago

I like the gamay more than the Syrah... At least young. It Tastes like gamay and it taste slike northern Rhone
