A Pinot drinker’s cab. This wine was meant to be enjoyed with friends. It’s connections to Chicago are clear in the taste. A tough brawny exterior and upbringing, coats this gentle beauty. A softness then comes when you’re there. Softness and fun among structure and architecture. — 6 years ago
Funk, skin contact, and all the best buzz words, but this one didn’t disappoint. A body that lingers, the texture is smoother than expected. Polished. The Riesling notes come out almost creamy but there’s a crisp bite with nice acidity - grapefruit and a touch of agave. This drinks like a crisp night spent outside with sunsets, night sounds, and a promise of something to look forward to. — 6 years ago

A bold pinot with a soft touch. The first sips are zippy. Big cherry with some licorice swirl, covering your mouth gently but with presence. An oaky smoke lingers just a bit on the back of the roof of your mouth while the tart cherry fades to black. It was wonderful to come back to this wine. — 5 years ago
