Velvety purple with strong blackberry on the nose, medium body and medium plus acidity, velvety/cocoa fine tannins, biting black pepper and blackberry on the palate, finishing with hints of cinnamon. — 10 years ago
Already browning into a mahogany Hue after only a few years in the bottle. Nose of cranberry and sharp white pepper, with delicate violet and biting pepper on the palate. Sharp metallic acidity with dry, abundant tannins. Medium minus body. High alcohol. Not for me. — 10 years ago

Deep ruby red, strong vanilla and cherry on the nose, robust rhubarb on the palate elevated by fine tannins, with a persistent cherry finish — 10 years ago
Old world single estate Zin from Paul Draper. Hints of red fruit on nose with a dusting of cinnamon spice. Prickly tannins, mouth watering acidity with quinine bitterness, and a round metallic flavor on the tongue with stewed red fruit. Lingering Cherry Jell-o finish. Not your fruity international style Zinfandel, but big and bold in a more restrained and clever way — 10 years ago
