Light bodied, mellow fruit, went well with pasta, but would also be perfect with pizza, appetizers, and cheeses. Think of this as a baby Pinot. The value is pretty much right on the mark for the quality of this wine. Could be a candidate for Thanksgiving turkey dinner? Hmmm... — 8 years ago
Subtle oak, lighter bodied than I thought it would be. I much rather prefer their Zinfandel, which I scored much higher, but this Cab was decent. Wanted it to be a bit more chewy and mouth coating. Instead, it left me wanting more on the finish. A bit underwhelming. — 8 years ago

Pretty high sugar content at 8g/L and it's noticeable. However this is a smooth merlot, perhaps not necessarily worth its lofty price tag, but would pair well with roasts, steaks, and stews. — 8 years ago
Ripe dark fruit, long tannic finish, and acidity that can cut through bolognese sauce. This wine deserves a serious look if you're a chianti fan. Very bold, yet not overwhelmingly full bodied. Should be decanted for at least an hour before drinking. — 8 years ago
Medium bodied, subtle fruit on the nose, yet spicy on the tongue, this well-aged wine went well with pork roast and gravy. Decanting will help soften this even more. — 8 years ago
Literally mouth watering. Thick, plum coloured, chewy, fruit on the finish. Have with steak and settle for nothing less than that. Decant for hours before drinking if you want the best possible quality. Well done. — 8 years ago
Ripe fruit on the nose. Some sour and tart cherry on the finish. Some pepper. Despite one hour decant, this was still a bit overwhelming in its alcohol impact. Definitely complex, structured and softens with time in the decanter. But this was probably meant to stay in the cellar for another year. We robbed this baby from the cradle. Potential to be a 90+ wine. — 8 years ago
Considering the vintage on this, the wine was outstanding. Dry fruit, some spice, long finish. Excellent old world wine, very definitive. Had this with pizza, spiced chicken dip, chicken wings and other super bowl munchies. What a wine. I'd definitely buy this again. — 8 years ago

Very good table wine to go with Portuguese chicken and rice. Soft, balanced, easy drinking. — 8 years ago
