More fruit forward, bold, and full-bodied than a typical Merlot. I prefer bolder reds so I liked this one more than a typical merlot fan might.

Very decent smooth and balanced wine. A very very pleasant merlot. Would definitely get it again was glad I got to try one of the ones on my wishlist! ~23$ SAQ

Rich for a merlot but easy to drink, has a slight corky/oaky or something taste to start with but mellows down as you drink it ... kind of like the dry edge to it.

Pretty high sugar content at 8g/L and it's noticeable. However this is a smooth merlot, perhaps not necessarily worth its lofty price tag, but would pair well with roasts, steaks, and stews.
