It's a deceptively smooth red. The complex flavors bloom. Without even considering the 14% content, this is cleanest finish I've ever tasted on a red wine. It's refreshing, and soothes thirst without quenching enjoyment of the wine.
This wine struck me, as it's the smoothest Cabernet Sauvignon I've had in my limited experience. Easy to drink and enjoyable flavors will have me trying this wine again.
This was such an enjoyable drink. There was a sharpness to it, but it flowed into the fruit flavor with a kind of juicy transition. Stand alone it was great, but pairing with cheese did bring out the flavors of the wine. I'm on the hunt so I may have this wine several more times, if possible.
Very smooth right after letting it breathe (30 minutes is my standard). Full bodied which starts off with spice/pepper notes and descends into light wood tone leading into the fruity follow up. Blackberry and dark cherry hints, the spice/pepper lead falls off enough to not contend with the fruit flavors. Label says blueberry hints, but if any then quite subtle as I taste the darker fruits followed by final flavors of soft caramel (label says mocha) and oak/wood. I would be shocked if not aged in wood. Will definitely buy this again.
