Gorgeous wine. Almost 20 years and going strong. Black cherry dried fig mint earth tar sweet tobacco. — 7 months ago
One of the best Sorella I have had. Tannins and acid unwinding with primary black and red fruit still showing side by side with dried versions. Fig tar cedar vanilla leather menthol and violet all swirling around. Won't get better than it is now and it's gorgeous. — 6 months ago
Beautifully aging nebbiolo. My first example from this producer. Everything I like in this kind of wine. Sour red cherry, mint, rose, sweet tobacco. Finish goes on and on. Tannins well integrated and still plenty of acid. Classically made with no heavy oak as far as I can tell. — 7 months ago

With 20 years of age this wine has evolved. The primary fruit has moved to deep dried versions of cherry blackberry and fig side by side with earth tar leather cedar bitter cocoa and tobacco. The nose is extremely pronounced and the tannins now soft. It was worth keeping these 2 decades. — 6 months ago
