Perfect! boar, venison, game, smoked ham would be matching well this wine. forest floor, leathery, black fruit, deep, intense, beautifully integrated alcohol, body with mellow tannins, velvety mouthfeel followed with a lingering long finish. This is an utterly fantastic wine! Developing nose with coing aromas, white peaches and flowers. Fresh, clean, sharp attack on the palate with zesty, lively body, some tannins, but overly rich and structured. Easy to drink although this is a more of a food wine type. Long finish with salty elements, perhaps the "lees" fighting back the delicacy and savoury elements out there? I am well impressed and very well satisfied! — 10 years ago
