Deeper flavors from this Southern Italian rose’ than regular Cotes de Provence. There’s a notable cooked plum on the nose. This is followed by a more tart red fruit on the palate. — 4 years ago
8 years young and stunning, this Walla-Walla Chardonnay from the now shuttered Buty Winery was worth the wait. Enveloped in warm apple cobbler and toasted bread the scent flows right into a full mouth of American Chard delight. Light on new oak (a noted characteristic of Washington Chards) this delicious wine hits every point spot-on for me. The mint and lime finish carries on the flavor well, too. I’m going to miss the selections from Buty. They remain a solid favorite. — 4 years ago
This one was nice. I enjoyed the ripe fruit and smoke notes on the nose. It’s unusual but easy drinking. This one needs food, such as good cheese and bread,, to fully work. — 9 months ago
Ah, Lambrusco di Modena, how I love thee! A fizzy, happy purple wine that chills well and pairs with many fun foods such as pizza and ravioli with tomato gravy. It’s got good fruit on the palate, lots of purple plums and blackberries. Softly dry with a hint of tannin that helps you cool down a hot day. — 3 years ago
So crisp and tart, with strawberries and red apple that it’s fun to drink all by itself. Finger Lakes cab franc makes some of the best rose’. It paired real well with spicy paella and jumbo shrimp. — 4 years ago
Intense aroma of deep red fruit with light earth. Smooth and deep. Worked very well with grilled beef; skirt steak to be exact. Good Merlot blend. — a year ago
Mmmm, that was so good. Deep and rich with big notes of vanilla, tobacco and purple plums. This “Super Tuscan “ is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah. This beauty is very full, and even jammy on the palette. Yet, the firm tannins make it stand as a great wine for heavy meats. We paired this angel with a slow-cooked oxtail & vegetable stew. Damn! — 3 years ago
Lovely pairing with both soft and medium cheeses. Agreed with other reviewers on the nose and palate. Nice wine. — 4 years ago
Just beautiful! Seamlessly webbed flavors of bright cherries, red currant, almond and savory truffles, this wine-geek’s little secret stood out among many I’ve tried in recent years. It’s nose is rich with chalk and limestone from the particular soils that run through this slice of Burgundy’s Cotes de Nuits. Love this one! — 4 years ago

A very nice white blend from Northern Italy. The large presence of Arneis grape was big on the nose and front of my palate. The spice and thick floral notes are magical here, as well. A touch of Sauvignon Blanc smooths it out for a delicious wine that pairs well with soft cheeses and baguette. — 4 months ago
