Was paired perfectly with my scallops and risotto with a creamy roasted red pepper sauce. On its own it doesn't stand up as well. Floral notes were pleasant, but it was wound very tight. Strongly recommend decanting. — 10 years ago

My all time favorite wine, this blend is the perfect leather and oak with a buttery finish. Goes great with most red meats, but especially sausage or pork. The '05, '07 and '09 vintages are all excellent, but if you can find the '05, take the time to seclude yourself in a quiet spot so that you can keep it all to yourself! I fell in love with this when tasting. Not just the amazing pepper notes followed by caramel and fig, but Tertulia is a class act winery practicing old world wine making traditions. This wine will continue to be one of my favorites.
