Aromatic at the start with a nose of dark fruit and vanilla. It evolves to earth tones and hints of violet. Medium body with well structured tannins. — 6 years ago
Found this gem at an unexpected place. The wine list is sparse but brilliantly this Skyfall Merlot was in it. Raspberry and cherry at the start with notes of cloves. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazingly, the wine was served at the perfect temperature! — 7 years ago

As the name implies, jam in a bottle with the complexities of a wine. The wife lived it. Great with fruit and a sharp cheese.

A bit tannic for my taste given it is Pinot noir. However I liked the complexity and it went well with the lamb. It was an interesting wine but not typical. Not fruit forward. Lots of secondary tastes. I got more earth than I would have expected, but still, very pleasant. I rated it perhaps a bit low because it was atypical. But don’t let that keep you from tasting it. — 6 years ago

Sadly not as tasty as the Welch's berry and grape juice I had in the refrigerator. Maybe the mushroom appetizer was overpowering the rose. I guess I would suggest having it with a subtle cheese and light fruit like apples and pears.

The bottle I got was muddled tastes as if someone said, “oh no, the Malbec isn’t very good. Throw in some other stuff.” — 4 years ago
